At the Toy Train Operating Society (TTOS) – Buckeye Division, our mission is to preserve, promote, and share the joy of model railroading with enthusiasts of all ages. Through hands-on experiences, engaging events, and a strong community of collectors and hobbyists, we aim to keep the tradition of toy trains alive while inspiring the next generation of railroaders.
We believe in education, fellowship, and hands-on interaction, allowing both club members and visitors to operate and enjoy model trains in a welcoming environment.
The TTOS Buckeye Division has been a cornerstone of the model railroading community in Central Ohio for decades. Our members range in age from 16 to 83, many with over 30 to 40 years of experience in model trains. We are a family-oriented club, dedicated to sharing knowledge and creating unforgettable experiences at train shows, meetings, and events.
Throughout the years, we have:
- Hosted monthly membership meetings for train collectors and hobbyists.
- Displayed modular layouts at train shows, allowing visitors (especially children) to operate the trains under supervision.
- Fostered a growing community passionate about preserving and advancing the model railroading hobby.
Join us as we celebrate the past, embrace the present, and inspire the future of model railroading!
